APEX-RI Remote Indicator Portable Scale
DETECTO’s APEX-RI series portable scales with remote indicators feature an extra-wide, flat platform measuring 17 in W x 17 in D x 2.75 in H, high 600 lb x 0.2 lb / 300 kg x 0.1 kg capacity, 0.75-inch-high clinical-blue LCD weight readouts, units locking into kilograms or pounds, BMI calculation, 6 ft/1.8 m cable from the scale base to indicator, integral carrying handle, textured platform surface, AC or 12 AA battery power (AC adapter included on some models), 1 RS232 serial port, 1 micro USB-B port, and HL7 IEEE 11073 compliance. They are ready to use right out of the box with no assembly needed. Wi-Fi/Bluetooth models are available (select -C models) with the protocol available upon request.

BRW1000, Portable
DETECTO’s BRW1000 is designed to accommodate extra-wide bariatric wheelchairs with its large 32 in x 40 in x 2.2 in / 81 cm x 101 cm x 5.6 cm platform. DETECTO’s portable BRW1000 bariatric wheelchair scale features a high 1,000-lb/450-kg capacity, two-way easy-access ramps, flexible cable remote display for tabletop or wall-mount viewing, 2.2-in/5.6-cm thin platform for easy accessibility, 0.2-lb/0.1-kg clinical accuracy, black rubber mat for traction, and two guide handles and two wheels for vertical transport mode. Despite their size, these wheelchair scales are amazingly easy to handle. Since the display is connected to the scale by a long coiled cable that extends up to 14 ft / 4.2 m, it can be positioned where the healthcare professional can most easily read the results. The BRW1000 comes with the MedVue multifunctional indicator with alphanumeric keypad and RS232 and USB ports. Models are available with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and also Welch Allyn connectivity. The BRW1000 displays Height, Weight, and Body Mass Index onscreen simultaneously.

DHRWM

Detecto’s model DLM may be used stand-alone on an exam table or with Detecto’s model MB130 and MB150 pediatric scales. The lightweight design and battery power make it ideal for easy transport from one patient room to another. A bold LCD with convenient unit switching and overall dimensions of 11.4 W x 2.7 H x 24.4 L inch (29W x 7 H x 62 L cm). Powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries (included) and a Hold feature to retain measurements on screen. Length range: 13.75 to 31.5 inch (35 to 80 cm).

DR Series – BMI
The remote digital indicator comes with a mounting bracket which easily mounts on a counter top or vertical surface. The scale features 0.75 in (19 mm) high LCD digits, selectable units, and a Lock/Release key for holding weight after a patient has stepped away from the scale. The scale quickly calculates Body Mass Index by simply entering the patient’s height while weighing. Powered by 6 AA batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter. DR Series Portable
DETECTO’s model DR400C and DR550C digital floor scales will provide you with years of accurate and reliable weighing from the brand you trust in clinical weighing. The scales arrive assembled and ready for use. Models are available in 550 lb x 0.2 lb and 400 lb x 0.5 lb capacities. The portable lightweight platform and large bold backlit blue readouts makes these scales ideal for mobile clinics, home healthcare nurses, doctor’s offices, general purpose use, and home bathroom weighing. The scale’s moveable display lets you place it on a work surface or mounted to the wall, wherever it’s most convenient for you to view. An optional black carrying case is available.
The economical DR400C and DR550C are battery powered, so you can take the scales anywhere you need them. The raised buttons are comfortable to press for a pleasant tactile feel, and an audible beep provides a confirmation of your keypresses. The backlit blue LCD with bold one-inch-high digits is viewable in almost any lighting condition. DETECTO’s DR400C and DR550C come with a UL listed 9V 300mA DC adapter (included) or may be powered by 4 AA batteries (not included) for mobile use. Easy access to the four AA batteries is located conveniently on the back of the indicator.
The DR series indicator’s versatile drop-in mounting bracket and coiled cable allows the display to be positioned on the floor or tabletop for quick mobile weighing use or you may permanently mount it on the wall using the included screws and plastic drywall anchors. Wall-mounting the remote display offers the additional advantage of eye-level readings and space-saving operation. MB130
Babies feel at ease and safe in the extra-large weighing tray of DETECTO’s MB130 scale. With dual graduations ranging from neonatal to pediatric care (accurate to 5 grams), DETECTO’s MB130 digital scale features a removable tray which automatically converts the scale into a low-profile step-on toddler scale with a maximum capacity of 44 lb / 20 kg. The MB130 is powered by one 9V alkaline battery (not included) or AC adapter (included) with Auto Shut-off feature after 2 minutes to conserve battery life. The one-inch (25-mm) high LCD with 5-digit display provides highly-visible readouts. The integral analog measuring tape reads up to 21-9/16 in / 55 cm with 1/16 in / 1 mm increments. The optional model DLM digital length measuring rod can be easily mounted to the scale for an all-digital measuring station. The Breast Milk Intake function compares the weight of a baby before and after feeding, and then alternates the display between the baby’s current weight and the change from the first weight, indicating the amount of milk intake of the baby. PHR
DETECTO’s PHR portable height rod is simple to set up and easy to use. There’s no wall fastening necessary and it may be positioned against a wall or completely free standing due to its large floor plate. Two spacers provide additional stability when placed against a wall. The stadiometer measures from 4.5 in – 81 in and 11.5 cm – 205 cm with 0.125 in / 0.1 cm graduations visible on both sides of the height rod. The PHR stadiometer features a unique reversible head piece that lets you add a DETECTO DR400C digital floor scale at the base to measure weight and height simultaneously. If you use the PHR without a DR400C scale at the base, simply flip the head piece upside down. An optional PHR-CASE carrying case with shoulder strap is available that fits the PHR and DR400C.
